I understand laws have to be passed and such. But what confuses me is to why can I play at bodog and not stars? In other words why can't Stars do what bodog is doing and we can all be happy?

Most likely we will never see the offshores back here again. To do so they would have to get a license and with the DOJ shit from Black Friday on their resume i cant see them ever getting that.

The reason they wont come back and the smaller sites are still here is simple. Stars, FT and UB lost millions of dollars because the had to use 3rd part processors to pay players and the DOJ stole the money from the processors not the sites.....They could never risk having that kind of money in a 3rd party processor again....especially since its public record now that 1 of the processors was a company setup by the DOJ themselves for the express purpose of stealing this money...

The smaller sites like Cake and Merge are taking 3 to 6 months to pay people....thats y they are still in business. if they tried to pay quickly they would have to have large amounts in 3rd parties hands also leaving them wide open to the DOJ's thieving ways....

Looks like we will soon get what everyone wants...legal play thru state run casinos....just remember in horse racing states take as much as 40% of betting pools in taxes. How well will say the Sunday Million go over when the state takes 40% of the pool in taxes and then taxes the winners at a premium afterwards to boot also....Ill have to see the +EV in this equation before ill believe it......
